Autoresponders And Their Uses

As an Internet Marketer having an auto responder a essential tool in
Growing your business.
An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it. They can be very simple or quite complex. The first autoresponders were created within mail transfer agents that found they could not deliver an e-mail to a given address. This creates bounce messages such as "your e-mail could not be delivered because”. Today's autoresponders need to be careful to not generate unwanted e-mail, which can result in the autoresponses being considered E-mail spam.

To be an effective marketer people know that the fortune is in the follow-up. This is why good marketers spend so much
time following up on past and present clients, making repeat sales or to past on useful information. This also frees up your time because you make calls to serious prospects. You can also use autoresponders to send out postcard reminders and brochures to their list of contacts they haven't talked to in a while.

According to the experts it takes an average of 7 different contacts to close a sale. So if you are not following up with your prospects on a regular basis, you are losing sales! When your list of prospects grows, it will become more and more difficult and time consuming to figure out when you last spoke with which prospect and which information you sent to them. In other words it would be impossible for you to personally follow up with your prospects 24 hours a day. That’s were your autoresponder comes in.

Your autoresponder can manage all of your prospects, remember when it sent your last sales letter, what that letter was about, and it can do all of this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Your system runs 24 hours a day... 7 days a week, whether you are at the office, sleeping, having lunch, or enjoying some free time with your family. Your Autoresponder never sleeps!

You are able to generate more leads and more efficiently manage your follow ups, you will have more time to develop and test effective ad copy, spend time with family or friends, or even develop new product lines and marketing approaches!

Here are just a few things you can do with your Autoresponders:

* Automate Sales Letters

* Promote Business Opportunities
* Publish Your Ezine
* Distribute Product Information
* Build Your Contact List
